In addition to the high-quality appearance, the cable glands offer maximum flexibility in the selection for your application due to the modular design. Among other things, a choice can be made between different sealing inserts, such as for railway applications in accordance with EN 45545, in the food industry or in high-temperature environments. The compression nut can be selected flexibly, whether a conduit fitting, a very flat design solution or, for example, a trumpet-shaped compression nut for greater freedom of movement of the cable. The large clamping range in the lamella technology is especially suitable for flexible and safe daily use. An excellent strain relief as well as a protection class of IP68 are fulfilled. Here, the sealing insert encloses the cable and is pressed around the cable by tightening the pressure nut. The design of the sealing insert enables a high level of protection against torsion and optimum sealing with protection class IP68. In order to also be able to use an extended clamping range, two- or three-piece sealing inserts are available, depending on the screw connection size.
