SURFACE-MOUNTED MULTIMEDIA DISTRIBUTION BOX WITH CONVINCING DETAILS

The communication distributors of the DISBOX-XA series have a protection class of IP40 and are therefore ideally suited for use in any type of indoor environment. The housing of the surface-mounted fuse box is made of high-quality acrlynitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and thus complies with the specifications for freedom from halogens, UV stability and ROHS and REACH conformity. A total of 5 different housing sizes from 24 to 54 module slots are available in this series. The surface-mounted distributor has a very low installation height of only 112mm and can therefore be integrated almost invisibly into all room concepts. The lower part of the housing has all the necessary pre-stamping for flexible cable routing, so that all cables can be fed directly into the distributor from the plaster. This allows a very tidy overall appearance without lateral cable entries.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY AND EXTENSIVE ACCESSORIES

The scope of delivery of the DISBOX-XA series includes a comprehensive operating manual as well as a mounting plate for the flexible attachment of routers or other Smart Home components. In addition to a universal holder for WLAN routers, vertical and horizontal connection angles and a very helpful 230V double Schuko socket are also available as options. The normal door lock can be exchanged for a security lock on request, which secures access by unauthorised persons. All materials are UV-stable and halogen-free and tested according to applicable standards.

As an optional accessory we offer a bracket for the router. This can be used multifunctionally and enables the convenient mounting of the devices on the mounting plate. The bracket is manufactured as a steel plate.

In addition to the simple installation of the surface-mounted distribution cabinets, we also attach great importance to the simple installation and connection of the devices inside. Since routers and other IT devices are often only fitted with normal Schuko plugs, we offer a double socket for the interior as an optional accessory.

In some applications, increased protection of the internals is required. For this purpose we offer a security lock with 2 keys as a replacement for the normal door lock. This security lock prevents access by unauthorized persons and protects all components inside from vandalism or sabotage.

The multimedia distributors of the XA series offer the user a number of well thought-out details which considerably simplify assembly and use. In most cases, IT components such as routers, switches or small servers are installed in the communication distributors. To ensure a simple power supply for these components, it is possible to install a double Schuko socket. The appropriate fuse protection for the sockets can be provided directly in the upper part of the housing (installation of fuses and/or RCDs is possible).
Flexible cable routing due to various pre-stampings
With a solid surface-mounted housing, the XA series offers a range of cable routing options. In order to achieve a very tidy overall appearance, we have completely dispensed with lateral cable entries in this series. Instead of the side entries, we have provided a large number of pre-stampings at various points in the bottom of the housing. Thus, the user is very free in the choice of cable routing and can decide without restrictions which is the best way for the given installation situation.
Bracket for modem or WLAN router
The basis for all installations in the XA series is the perforated mounting plate. On the mounting plate all installations can be mounted very flexibly and easily. Since modern modems and WLAN routers often have similar dimensions, we offer an optional bracket for these components. They are screwed onto the mounting plate and provide a secure hold for your IT equipment. You will find the bracket and a wide range of other accessories further down this page.
