Polyamide cable glands
To complete the range of enclosures, BOXEXPERT offers cable glands in various designs. Cable glands made of polyamide are particularly suitable as a supplement for the plastic housings. The PA cable glands are available with lamella technology as well as with compression technology. The cable glands are particularly distinguished by their modular design. This offers BOXEXPERT customers the possibility of adapting the individual components as required to the application situation.
With this clamping technology, the tightened plastic pressure nut presses the lamellae of a lamellar ring onto the sealing ring, which fixes the cable underneath. The movable joint plates allow the insertion of different cable diameters with excellent strain relief and torsion protection. Due to the elastic, environmentally resistant sealing ring, a protection class of IP68 can be guaranteed. The lamella technology is suitable for rigid applications with fixed cables.
The compression technology is characterized by an extremely cable-friendly strain relief. The pressure nut presses the sealing insert around the cable. Although the cable diameter to be used is more specified for each cable gland, a high and at the same time cable-protecting tightness is achieved due to the 360° compression. This means that the cable is optimally secured even in highly dynamic applications, such as in railway or robot technology. A two-part sealing insert can also be used to extend the clamping range.
