You have adjusted the desired length and width of the empty housing and realize that the housing or the cover has too little height for the installed electronics such as switches, pushbuttons and measuring display. The Michel enclosure series from BOXEXPERT is characterised by its unusual height concept. Most commercially available enclosures are constructed roughly according to the ratio 3:2:1 (L:W:H). While the housing dimensions usually meet a certain standard, your application rarely does. In order to easily wire the enclosure and the machine environment, it is of great importance to route the cables into and out of the enclosure in an uncomplicated manner but in compliance with the required degree of protection. The Michel enclosure series from BOXEXPERT therefore has either various metric pre-stampings on the sides of the enclosure base or smooth enclosure walls for the individual assembly of cable glands. The pre-stamped holes can be opened without special tools, which means that no drilling or other machining of the housing surface is necessary. This offers the advantage that cable glands and cable bushings can be inserted into the housing without great effort. The smooth housing walls have the advantage that the required cable entries can be positioned very individually and are only created in the actual number required. This gives the case a more premium look.

In addition to the large number of domes at the bottom of the housing, the accessories supplied include mounting screws for easy installation of a DIN rail or mounting plate. In this way, it is not necessary to machine the base of the housing, and the protection class is not negatively affected.
