INSTALLATION HOUSING HANSE-SNS

Professional electrical installation brings with it two challenges. On the one hand, the installation of electrical cables must be uncomplicated and not time-consuming, but on the other hand, this time saving must not be achieved at the expense of safety. The waterproof distribution boxes of the Hanse-SNS series for outdoor areas offer quick and safe assembly and at the same time serve as a reliable tool for the cable connections and branches within the framework of the electrical installation.

The housings of the Hanse-SNS series are especially characterized by the fact that the cable branches are accommodated in the housing by means of a few handles. Integrated step nipples offer an uncomplicated cable feed-through. Depending on the size of the housing, the number varies from 4 to 12 pieces. The step nipples are pushed into the housing holes and can be cut according to the required cable diameter. The cable is then fed tightly through the grommet. Because the elastic material wraps around the cable, the protection class is not negatively changed.

The installation enclosures of the Hanse-SNS series are available in different sizes and designs. Depending on the enclosure size and area of application, they have different types of cover fastening. For example, for installations in indoors or dry rooms, where IP44 is sufficient, the enclosures with pressure lock can be used. This allows the cover to be closed quickly, which in turn saves a considerable amount of time. If the installation area, e.g. outdoors or in damp rooms, requires a higher protection class, the distribution boxes with screw connection are used. This type of cover fastening achieves a protection of IP65. In the industrial environment, this is required, for example, in areas with high air humidity, for gate controls in outdoor areas or in rooms such as workshops and laboratories where floors and walls are regularly cleaned with jet and spray water.

The BOXEXPERT enclosures of the Hanse-SNS series are available in different shapes and sizes. The smallest enclosures are round, offer four cable entries and a diameter of 65 or 80 mm. The largest enclosures of the SNS series have a base dimension of 243 x 190 mm and have 12 cable entries by means of step nipples.
