HIGH EASE OF ASSEMBLY AND OPEN ACCESS

The fuse boxes of the DISBOX-DA series have a protection class of IP30 and are made of halogen-free styrene. The DA series is characterized by an open design, which allows the user to access the internals at any time. While other series use additional doors and optional security locks, here the installed components can be accessed at any time. A total of 6 sizes from 1 to 42 modules are available.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY AND ACCESSORIES

The scope of delivery of the DISBOX-DA series includes not only a comprehensive operating manual and the PE&N terminals, but also all the necessary fastening screws, which enable fast installation. We also mount all required mounting rails type TS35 in the lower part of the housing. The number and length of the mounting rails depends on the defined number of module slots per enclosure. In addition to the standard insulated screw terminals, double-row screw terminals or screwless terminal strips can also be supplied. All materials are UV-stable and halogen-free and tested according to applicable standards. If individual module slots are not required, corresponding covers are also included in the scope of delivery.

The surface-mounted distribution boxes of the DISBOX-DA series are produced in 6 different sizes. While the three smaller sizes (2-5 modules) already have the mounting rail integrated in the housing, the three larger distribution boxes (12-42 modules) have one or more mounting rails made of galvanized sheet steel mounted and supplied accordingly. We only use the TS35 rail type.

Whereas in many distribution and fuse boxes access to the built-in components is prevented by additional doors and optional security locks, the DISBOX-DA series is deliberately kept open. These surface-mounted distributors impress with their easy handling and direct accessibility of the components. The housing cover can be opened by means of the slotted screws. The screws are clearly marked for easy handling.

In order to further optimise the ease of installation, insulated PE & N terminals are also included in the scope of delivery. The number of terminals supplied always depends on the number of possible modules. Basically, we offer 2-row insulated screw terminals or screwless insulated terminal strips (spring-loaded terminals) as further optional accessories. If individual module slots are not required, corresponding covers are also included in the scope of delivery.

Clear identification of the fixtures
For the safe and standard-compliant use of the distribution boxes, the possibility of unambiguous assignment of the installed components is of utmost importance. In our fuse and distribution boxes of all series, we provide clear labelling of all module mounting positions and also of the associated terminals. This makes wiring much easier and saves time.
Mounting rails smaller designs
The surface-mounted distribution boxes of the DISBOX-DA series are produced in 6 different sizes. For the three smaller sizes (2-5 modules), the mounting rails are already integrated in the housing. We have already reproduced the shape of a TS35 mounting rail in the mould of the injection moulding tool and integrated it in the housing base. This means that the individual installations can be snapped on and wired very easily.

For the three larger enclosure sizes (12-42 modules), one or more mounting rails made of galvanized sheet steel are mounted and supplied accordingly. We only use the TS35 rail type.
