CONTROL CABINET PERLE ABS

The Perle enclosure series made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS for short) combines the advantages of an industrial enclosure with those of a control cabinet. The Perle control cabinet can be securely closed with captive plastic screws and, thanks to the foamed-in PUR seal, complies with protection class IP67 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. DIN EN 60529/DIN 40050. The lower part of the housing and the cover interlock optimally via the spring and groove principle and thus protect the components against external influences such as dust and moisture. Compared to similar metal enclosures, the ABS material offers the advantage of resistance to corrosive loads, as well as resistance to alkali, oils and salts, for example. Compared to similar products, the housing has a maximum impact resistance of IK10 due to the 30% thicker outer walls, which is unparalleled in plastic housings.

Although the Perle series cabinet offers an optimal locking mechanism by means of the plastic screws, electronic fixtures often require maintenance or replacement. Integrated hinges, which are located inside the housing, ensure that the housing cover can be opened like a control cabinet door. The hinges can be mounted on both sides, giving the user the choice of a left- or right-hand opening door. Due to the position of the hinges, they are not exposed to the weather and are therefore completely wear-resistant. In addition, the external appearance of the control cabinet is not affected by the internal mounting.

A look inside the Perle ABS series gives an idea of the wide range of possibilities for mounting devices. We have already incorporated many ideas from customers in the design phase of the enclosures, which allows maximum flexibility in the installations. Various mounting domes allow easy mounting of mounting rails, mounting plates, own PCBs or other devices with corresponding brackets. The mounting options are distributed over the entire interior, so that the available space can be used to the maximum.

The housing bases of the Perle series are provided with pre-stamping for the use of cable flange plates. By using cable flange plates, the feed-through of the cables, as well as the preparation by cable glands or cable bushings can be carried out in a separate processing step. This allows the assembly sequences to be carried out independently of each other, which significantly simplifies the entire production process. The pre-stampings can simply be broken out and then replaced by the fitted flange plates. Depending on the size of the housing, different sizes and a different number of pre-embossings are available. Connections of housings lined up next to each other can also be realized very easily in this way.
